SMC were appointed by the Peninsula Apartments Body Corporate Group to redesign their indoor and outdoor amenities and prepare all relevant design documentation. The design scope included their outdoor pools and recreational BBQ areas along with their indoor pool and internal amenities. A key component for the client was to ensure DDA compliance throughout.
The client requested two designs for consideration, a contemporary theme and a coastal theme which would compliment the existing building and beachside location. With a strong emphasis being put on creating a place of sanctuary the client wanted multiple leisure opportunities including poolside entertainment areas and a dedicated Zen garden.
As a value add to the client, our in-house Senior Designer Zane Swan produced 3D rendered images and video walkthrough to give a visual overview of the potential end result.
